Here are a few snaps of personal style at last weekend's Cult Couture in Manukau City. The event is going from strength to strength and is truly one place where the cultures of New Zealand collide, nicely...
Personal style through our Black Eyes

Ok, we know it's fashion week here in NZ but these pics just came in from our good buddy Sam Crawford in New York who has been out and about on the streets of the Big Apple to pick 'em up for The Black Eye. Enjoy...

Zambesi took us to the most unlikely of places last night. Sky City Theatre. And that's what we love and appreciate about Zambesi. In the venerable label's thirtieth year we were treated, on an expansive stage, to a classic Zambesi range on a grand scale. Unaware of what was about to unfold inside, fashionistas, media and a healthy sprinkling of loyal friends and customers of the brand mingled in the foyer. Here's the pre-show snaps...

Andre of House of EZIS has endeared himself to us already. The Brisbane-based designer recognises that his quality tailoring and sharp designs have a real future here in NZ. One to watch at this weeks New Gen show.
Clyne Models Marama Nichols is always immaculately turned out but we loved his decision to front up for a day at Fashion Week in a simple, sharp Workshop suit. His wife wondered if he looked like an undertaker but we beg to differ.
The youngest of New Zealand Fashion Weeks family dynasty, Harley Stewart is every bit as stylish - and replete with her own briefcase - resoundingly cute!
We loved the way these two looked together. Even their hair was in unison...
We liked the cute casualness of fashion editor Jenny Cook's rolled up jeans and Alexandre Herchcovitch shoes...

Last Saturday at the Ryder Salon 10th birthday party, the Stolen Girlfriends Club showed their new range "Weapons Of Mass Seduction" to a packed out crew at the salon. Party pics can be found on Blacklog. All catwalk images here by Petrice Rhodes.

Melbourne has long been one of the world's most stylish cities, a fashionable metropolis evenly populated by expressive individuals - and here's further proof. Nadia Sliwka captured a fine selection in the city's Bohemian enclave Fitzroy which we will feature over the next couple of posts.
